Location: Dallas, TX – The National Office of Omega Delta Phi and the Undergraduate Affairs Office led by Vice President Gabriel Hernandez have announced the Regional Directors for the 2021-2024 term. Regional Directors are responsible for providing regional oversight to undergraduate entities, enforcing policy, and administering resources to help set up chapters and colonies in their region for success.

Jason de Leon

Brother Jason crossed at Xi Chapter in 2016, as a member of the Alpha Kappa class. He held numerous chapter positions while at the University of Oklahoma and started the Young Knights Leadership Academy in 2018. Additionally, Brother Jason served as Oklahoma Alumni Association Chairman in 2019 and the NAtional Director of Content from 2018-2019.

Brother Jason obtained his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Oklahoma in 2018 and is on track to complete his MBA by May 2022. For the past 3 years, Brother Jason has worked at Oklahoma City Community College as a Student Success Advisor.

“I am excited to have Jason on this team.” said the Vice President of Undergraduate Affairs Gabriel Hernandez. “He is aware of how great the entities in his region are and is ready to take them to another level. Jason shared he is ready to advocate for the entities he’ll be working with while also creating opportunities for them to grow as entities and individual members. Utilizing the skills he has gained as an active undergrad and alumni, I know Jason will utilize his networks and resources to ensure that he is successful in this role.”

Francisco Ramirez

Brother Francisco crossed at Alpha Mu Chapter 2014, as a member of the Psi class. He held numerous chapter positions while at Texas A&M University – Kingsville and has spent the last six years on the Central Texas Regional Board. 

Brother Francisco obtained his Bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University – Kingsville in 2017 and a masters of Security Management for the University of Houston – Downtown in 2020. For the past 2 years, Brother Francisco has worked as a DEsktop Support Specialist II  at McLennan County. 

“Over the past few years, Francisco had served in various roles at the regional level. After the conversation I had with him, I could feel the energy he has to take on this role.” said the Vice President of Undergraduate Affairs Gabriel Hernandez. “ During our interview he said “we are here to serve our undergrads and we need a team that reflects that.” That says it all from Francisco and I am excited to have him on this team.”

Kenyatta Brisco

Brother Kenyatta crossed at Delta Chapter 2018, as a member of the Beta Theta class. He held numerous chapter positions while at Texas A&M University and served as the National Undergraduate Representative on the National Executive Council.

Brother Kenyatta obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in Human Resource Management from Texas A&M University in 2020, and is on track to complete his masters in Human Resources byDecember 2022. Currently, Brother Kenyatta works as a substitute teacher at ESS Education.

“I wish you all could see Kenyatta’s application material!” said the Vice President of Undergraduate Affairs Gabriel Hernandez. “I was impressed by his approach and the plan he has outlined for each entity and the region. Not much to say here: Kenyatta is ready and will be great in this role!”

Dominique Covington

Brother Dominique crossed at the Alpha Omega Chapter 2014, as a member of the Mu class. He held numerous chapter positions while at the University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh and served as the National Undergraduate Representative on the National Executive Council.

Brother Dominique obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Leadership & Organization Studies from University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh in 2020. Brother Dominique enlisted in the United States Marine Corps Reserve in 2013 as a Bulk Fuel Specialist, and recently has earned the rank of Sergeant.

“After the conversation I had with Dom, I know that he’s ready to get to work (and immediately!).” said the Vice President of Undergraduate Affairs Gabriel Hernandez. “I was impressed as he outlined the goals and expectations he had for the region. It won’t be easy, but I know he is ready for this challenge.”

Juan Armijo

Brother Juan crossed at Alpha Chi Chapter 2017, as a member of the Xi class. He held numerous chapter positions while at the University of North Texas. Upon graduation, Juan quickly joined the North Texas Regional Board and has been active for the past two years.

Brother Juan obtained his Bachelor’s degree from Texas Woman’s University in 2017, his Masters in Education in 2019, and is currently working on his Doctorate in Philosophy, Human Development and Family Studies. Brother Juan is currently the Assistant Director of Internships for the Pioneer Center for Student Excellence at Texas Woman’s University.

“Between his involvement in the organization and his professional experience in higher education, I am excited to welcome Juan Armijo to the team.” said the Vice President of Undergraduate Affairs Gabriel Hernandez. “He is fully aware of the challenges that exist in the region. His strategic plan clearly outlines the various areas that he plans to engage in and I have all the confidence that he will create a team that puts this plan into action.”

Angel Mandujano-Guevara

Brother Angel crossed at Alpha Theta Chapter 2016, as a member of the Alpha Delta class. He held numerous chapter positions while at Oregon State University and last served as the Northwest Region’s Assistant Regional Director.

Brother Angel obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Ethnic Literature from Oregon State University in 2018 and a Masters in Education in 2020. For the past year, Brother Angel has worked at Pacific University as an Academic Coach. 

“I am excited to have Angel on the team.” said the Vice President of Undergraduate Affairs Gabriel Hernandez. “He is very much for advocating and supporting the undergrads in the region. He understands the dynamics and challenges that are unique to the region which is important. I know he will take the region to the next level and create a regional board that is representative of all the entities and it’s members.”

Juan Campos

Brother Juan crossed at Epsilon Chapter 2013, as a member of the Alpha Phi class. He held numerous chapter positions while at Arizona State University and has been the Regional Finance Chairman for the Southwest Region for the past five years.

Brother Juan obtained his Bachelor’s degree from Arizona State University in 2015 and his Masters in Global Logistics in 2018. Brother Juan currently works at Facebook as an External Security Audit Management Team Lead.

“Juan Campos has been waiting patiently for his time and I believe now is the time for him to step up into this role.” said the Vice President of Undergraduate Affairs Gabriel Hernandez. “He has the passion and energy to invest into the region. Transparency, effective communication, trust and connectedness are important to him and I know he will build a regional team that will get others to buy into his vision. Southwest brothers, he is ready to work for you!”
