Expansion
Founding a chapter of Omega Delta Phi is a challenging and rewarding experience that requires strong leadership and deep commitment to community service and philanthropy. The chartering process is by no means an easy task, but, in due course, there will be much to be reaped by those who step up to the challenge. For those interested in bringing Omega Delta Phi to your campus, please fill out the forms below.
Expansion at a glance
Founding Process
Omega Delta Phi prides itself on molding its membership into leaders who strive to go above and beyond the call of duty as a brother toward a positive member of their community. The Fraternity looks for the same character qualities from its future chapters since they become Omega Delta Phi’s future.
Men of Vision Interest Group
The formal establishment process begins with the creation of a campus Interest Group. A letter of intent and several additional documents must be submitted to the Department of Expansion. Once approved, the Interest Group can act as an official Men of Vision club. At this point, the Interest Group has no rights or privileges of a member, is not allowed to wear the fraternity letters, or use the trademarked name, “Omega Delta Phi.”
Founders Program
Afterward, the club then starts the Founders Program—a tailored Prospective Member Process for the group to learn to function like a working entity of Omega Delta Phi. Upon successful program completion, the Founders are rewarded with their letters. This signifies their official membership as Omega Delta Phi members and grants full membership status.
Newly founded entities will then be classified as a colony. Typically after a year, colonies can apply for chapter status and gain their chapter designation.
