Location: Dallas, TX – The National Office of Omega Delta Phi and Development Department led by Vice President Joseph King have announced two Directors appointed to the Development Team for the 2021-2024 administration. The Development Team is the home team for the Director of Business Development, Director of Professional Development, Director of Membership Development, & Director of Archives.
Director of Professional Development – Xavier Acosta
The Vice President of Operations, Joseph King, is excited to announce the appointment of Brother Xavier Acosta to the position of National Director of Professional Development. Brother Xavier crossed at Epsilon Chapter in Fall 2014. Brother Xavier spent his time in undergrad bringing post-graduation and volunteer opportunities as well as aiding in the fundraising efforts for his chapter. Additionally, Brother Xavier has presented his chapter with DUI awareness and public speaking workshops.
Brother Xavier obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Sciences-Education from Arizona State University. Brother Xavier has worked with the Aguila Youth Leadership Institute, the Hispanic Leadership Institute and also recently presented at the Arizona State University Social Embeddedness Network. Currently, Brother Xavier works as a Postsecondary Transition Coordinator for the Be A Leader Foundation.
“Xavi’s experience and dedication to his chapter and the organization is outstanding!” said Vice President of Development Joseph King. “I am excited to see where Xavi can take the Professional Development of our brothers to help them grow further and also to better plan for their future post graduation. Xavi has been doing the work already of what we are hoping to do for our brothers so it would be wrong of me not to add him to my team. I am excited to see what he is able to accomplish.”
Director of Membership Development – Jimmy Morales
The Vice President of Operations, Joseph King, is excited to announce the appointment of Brother Jimmy Morales to the position of National Director of Membership Development. Brother Jimmy crossed at Beta Sigma Chapter in the Spring of 2017. Brother Jimmy spent his time in undergrad helping to achieve chapter status which was received in the Summer of 2019. Brother Jimmy also established a Young Knights Leadership Academy Program at North Shore Senior High School .
Brother Jimmy obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with major in Insurance and Risk Management from the University of Houston Downtown. Brother Jimmy received the Greek Man of the Year Award in 2018 as well as Outstanding Community Service and Philanthropy Award recipient in 2018.
