Note from the Editor of 7Visions Magazine: In the midst of the ongoing global health crisis, the Department of Marketing of Omega Delta Phi is devoted to continuing its commitment to bringing you quality content to provide a sense of normalcy during these trying times. We are aware of the COVID19 pandemic and sympathize and stand in solidarity with our brothers, our Greek Community, our campus communities as well as the global community. In spite of this, we will continue to provide quality content and showcase uplifting and positive stories which will bring light in the face of so much darkness.
Today, we continue our On Wednesdays We Rock Letters series as a tribute to our National Founders, their legacies and the tradition of wearing red letters on Wednesdays as a homage to the Seven Visionary Men who founded our brotherhood at Texas Tech University on Wednesday November 25th, 1987. In tribute to that history, during this special edition of On Wednesdays We Rock Letters we feature our Midwest Region entity, the Alpha Omega Chapter at the University of Wisconsin- Oshkosh which is celebrating a resurgence and revitalization of their chapter and which we are very proud of.

Chartered on campus:May 27th 2006, becoming the most northern entity of ODPhi.
Greek Council: Interfraternity Council (IFC)
Within the past couple of years brothers have served on the executive council, creating and witnessing historical moments for our chapter such as brother Dom Covington being the first Marketing Director in the IFC’s history then Council President shortly after as the 1st Knight in Alpha Omega history to hold that office.
Campus Presence:There are 23 undergrads here at this entity with 5 seniors graduating this weekend coming up. As the only multicultural fraternity on campus we are best known as the most HYPE Greeks on campus, highly respected for the contributions our members have made and continue to make towards the community, both on & off campus, serving in roles like Resident Assistants in the dorms, Peer Mentors to first semester Freshmen, and even being the campus DJ for various cultural & volunteer events. We take pride in the brothers who have continuously taken the initiative to represent our letters whenever & however possible, claiming titles & awards like Homecoming King, Founder’s Award, Fraternity Member of the Year, and 2x Winter Carnival champions. Through academics we have brothers ranging from all types of majors, like Molecular Biology, Leadership & Org. Studies, Criminal Justice, and Computer Science just to name a few, making us one of the most academically diverse fraternities on campus. No matter what we always strive to accomplish the two goals of the fraternity, to graduate our brothers & serve the community.
Interesting Fact:Aside from being the 1st Multicultural Fraternity on campus, with help from the fierce ladies of Gamma Alpha Omega at the time, we are the only multicultural org. still active on campus, making us the oldest organization to be consecutively on campus and in the Fox Valley in this category.
Chapter Traditions: At the end of every semester we host a brotherhood (Winter Retreat/Fall; Summer Brotherhood/Spring) where we not only welcome in the new members of the given semester but also sendoff our graduating seniors, all while appreciating and celebrating the hard work & accomplishments of the chapter so far.
