Location: Seattle, WA – The Operations Team is proud to announce an influx of new growth within the Operations division of Omega Delta Phi. The Operations team covers 3 main departments, those being Recruitment, Intake, and Expansion. All 3 of these teams provide valuable and critical services to grow and mature our Brotherhood while simultaneously helping to increase the quality of Brother being brought into our family of Knights.
With the recent growth in volunteer leadership, National President Tony Pagliocco said, “It’s amazing to see people come back into the fold, who want to be engaged and see success for our Brotherhood. I love to see people stepping up to the plate when they see areas that need improvement and we’ve seen a lot of it recently in Marketing, Finance, and now Operations. I have full confidence that these new additions to the team are going to ensure we have a fantastic 2017-2018 year and beyond.”
The Recruitment Team of Omega Delta Phi is proud to announce a new addition to the the Recruitment Team for the 2017-2018 calendar year. Brother Amo Vera has accepted the position of Assistant Recruitment Director , working under current Director of Recruitment, Ruben Espinoza. In his new role, Amo will be helping facilitate the recruitment strategy, help with training, and provide resources to chapters and colonies that want to expand their recruitment numbers and increase their conversion ratios.
Amo graduated from Texas A&M University – Kingsville with a degree in Information Systems. During his time as a Brother he has served in a number of roles in the recruitment field and also on the regional board as regional recruitment chair. His extensive experience and charismatic attitude provide him with a wide range of tools to ensure success in the goals set by the Recruitment Team. Amo is currently an Information System professional for the Calallen ISD.
On the addition of Amo, Director of Recruitment Ruben Espinoza said, “I am thrilled to have a new member come on board for ops, especially one with this track record. I’m not only holding my new assistant to the highest standard, but expecting him to do the same for me.”
On the Expansion Team, Brother Matthew Bacio has accepted the role of Assistant Director of Expansion, serving under current Director of Expansion, Victor Duron. Brother Matthew Bacio crossed into the brotherhood in the Fall Semester of 2011 at the Alpha Psi Chapter, University of California, Merced. Since crossing into Omega Delta Phi, Matt has held several positions including recruitment chairman, rush chairman, and Prospective Member Educator. Matt graduated from UC Merced with a BA in Political Science in December of 2013. As an alum, Matt has been heavily involved with the Pacific Region, serving as the Southern California Expansion Chairman in addition to providing continued support to the entities of the region. He will continue to serve as the intermittent So-Cal expansion chairman. Away from ODPhi, Matt works in the ER at the hospital of his hometown of Delano, CA. He is currently in pursuit of a Masters Degree in the healthcare field. In his new role, he will help with developing new expansion opportunities and facilitating studies on schools that could be future targets for Omega Delta Phi.
Regarding his new role, Brother Bacio said, “I am looking forward to representing our organization on the national level in efforts of bringing new entities to our brotherhood. The operations team has been extremely supportive up to this point and I’m eager in helping in any way I can in order to grow our brotherhood. We’ve experienced as actives that we’re a young, unique organization. We are far from the typical stereotype of a fraternal organization and we should continue to use that to our advantage.”
On the Intake Team, Brother Kenneth Anderson has accepted a promotion to Assistant Director of Intake, serving under current Director of Intake, Brian Ferebee. Kenneth crossed in Fall of 2012 at Alpha Mu Chapter. He then transferred to Beta Pi Chapter in 2014. During his tenure, he was part of the executive council of IFC and MGC at each chapter, respectively. Kenneth was also former Chapter President and PME. He also served on the CTX Regional Board as Undergraduate Rep/Programming Chair from 2013-2016. He originally joined the xNEC as Intake Development in 2016.
